Wiltshire accountancy firm calls on UK accountants to soften the CGT blow for business owners...

Wiltshire accountants Clear Vision have today stated that UK business owners should rely on their accountants to use the opportunities which still exist to mitigate their Capital Gains Tax ("CGT") bills.

Clear Vision Director Rachel Brotheridge says:

"The new rate of CGT of 28% which was introduced with effect from 23 June 2010 means that some higher rate tax payers could see their tax bills rise by more than 55 percent. However, there are a number of ways which still exist for an accountant to mitigate a CGT bill. We're calling on UK accountants to join us in helping UK business owners in this way. Effective tax planning can substantially improve your CGT position.

Plus we have a CGT update for business owners to download and read. This guide explores the various aspects of CGT and CGT planning opportunities."
