Speaking after Monday's glittering award ceremony at the NEC in Birmingham, the firm's managing director Rob Walsh said: 'There are 20,000 accountancy firms in the UK so to be named as the most exciting and forward thinking firm in the country is something we are enormously proud of. Businesses deserve more than they have traditionally received from accountants and we are determined to give it to them.' According to one of the judges, former UK entrepreneur of the Year Steve Pipe: 'Clear Vision are a new type of accountant. They are committed to helping business owners take their dreams and turn them into reality. And that's an example that the entire accounting profession would do well to follow.' Commenting on the win, Andy Milton, managing director of Melksham-based direct marketing company A A Marketing UK Limited described Clear Vision as 'local heroes', adding: 'they actually help you to build more successful and profitable business, and they make it fun.' The judges were impressed with Clear Vision's approach, which is based around not just measuring and accepting the numbers associated with a particular business but working to help the owners change them.
