Sizing Up Your Competition
Imagine how valuable it would be to know more about your competitors? The way they work? The prices they charge?
Well you can…
How?
By ‘Mystery Shopping’. Mystery Shoppers visit or call businesses posing as ordinary customers and provide detailed evaluations of their experience using written reports or questionnaires.
Traditionally used by the retail sector, mystery shopping is now used to provide feedback on customer service across a wide range of industries. Chances are, your business has been mystery shopped already.
Done well, mystery shopping will help you evaluate how your competitors approach every point of customer contact. So you can compare the quality of your customer experience.
You will also discover what prices they charge. So you can evaluate the overall level of value they provide and set a pricing strategy for your business with certainty and confidence.
This Clear Vision session gives you the opportunity to independently rate your business against others in the areas that are of relevance to you.
Your consultant will work with you to set up the research. They will then carry out the exercise on your behalf before coming back to you with a clear and concise report.
Your consultant will apply their experience to help you decide:
- Who to research
- What areas are of interest to you e.g. pricing, customer experience, guarantees provided, follow up process, quantity and quality of contact
- How the research will be carried out – in person, by telephone etc.
- A deadline for completion of the process
You will leave the session:
- Having set out a Mystery Shopping exercise that you are comfortable with
- Knowing exactly how our consultant will carry out the process
- Knowing exactly how our consultant will report back to you
- Knowing exactly when you can expect to receive your report and see the consultant again to discuss it in detail
